Terms
Last updated: October 5, 2026. A plain-language draft; it will be reviewed before launch.
These terms cover the Attic app for Mac and its license, sold by Pablo Fernández Jiménez through atticmac.com.
The license
- A one-time purchase gives you a personal license for Attic on 2 Macs. You can move it to another Mac by deactivating one in Attic’s Settings.
- It includes updates for the 1.x versions. There’s no subscription.
- Don’t share your key publicly or resell it.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. With Stripe Managed Payments, Stripe (through Link) is the merchant of record and handles sales tax and VAT; your receipt comes from them.
No trial
Sweeping needs a license. If Attic isn’t for you, you have 14 days to ask for a refund (see the refund policy). Undo, restore and the attic always work, with or without a license, so your files are never locked away.
What Attic does to your files
Attic only moves files, to the attic folder (~/Attic by default), and can move them back. It never deletes anything. “Empty old installers” moves installers to the Trash only after you confirm. Keep backups as you normally would; we can’t be responsible for data loss.
Refunds
14 days, no questions. See Refunds.
